A Granger student earned a place on a university’s honored list.

At Southern Arkansas University, 465 students earned a 4.0 GPA for the spring 2020 semester. The accomplishment qualifies them for recognition on the President's List.

Kenneth Burton, of Granger, is among those named to the President’s List. He is a senior majoring in sport management major.

This year’s President's List broke last year's record of 379 students.

According to SAU, the university "feels like home" and continues to build on its dedication to student achievement and success in a caring atmosphere, both on campus and online. With more than 80 degrees in four distinct colleges and the School of Graduate Studies, SAU initiates new degree programs aimed to fit the needs of career and professional trends of today. A few of the latest additions include new programs in international business, game design, and cyber criminology.
