GRANGER – On Feb. 17, 6-year-old Dalton Farr caught a 30-pound bluecat (fish), the new record for Granger Lake Youth Rod n Reel. Farr already holds Youth Rod n Reel Record for flathead/yellowcat.

Until Feb. 17, the record was held by Farr’s 12-year-old brother, Nathan, who caught a 18.75-pound bluecat.

With exception of the Granger Lake youth records, their father, Alan Farr, holds all of the Granger Lake bluecat records including catch and release, all tackle and rod n reel with a 38.5-pound bluecat.
