Customer Service of the Month

Ambassadors for the Greater Taylor Chamber of Commerce awarded Gloria Felder with the lab at the Baylor Scott and White Clinic this month’s Customer Service of the Month winner at a presentation Nov. 19.

Felder nomination letter told how she view the people who come to her window. Her patient’s birthday was a couple of days away and she, in advance, had a birthday card to give when the patient checked in for their lab work. “You are not only just pleasant, but thoughtful as well,” the letter said. 

Customer Service of the Month winners are selected from nominations from the public and Chamber staff and volunteers for extraordinary acts of service to their business’s customers. Nominations are accepted via email at info@taylorchamber.org. Winners must be owners or employees of Chamber member businesses to be eligible.

One of the year’s Customer Service of the Month recipients will be given the Customer Service of the Year award at the Chamber’s banquet on Jan. 14.

Chamber member business are welcome to assign an Ambassador to the committee. Potential Ambassadors are asked to attend a meeting to express their interest. The group typically meets at Gatti’s Pizza on the last Wednesday of the month at noon with the next meeting set for Jan. 29

Chamber Ambassadors are the heart of the Taylor Chamber. Their duties include learning about and supporting Chamber member businesses, performing ribbon cuttings, choosing business award winners and more.
