A woman was arrested after she hit a man with a car and went with him to the hospital.
According to police reports, on July 30, officers responded to a call at 5:30 a.m. from Taylor Scott & White Hospital, 305 Mallard Lane. Hospital officials told police they had a patient that had been hit by a vehicle, and the person who hit them was also at the hospital.
Police arrested Jourdan Donnelly, 22, of Brady, at 7:33 a.m. at the hospital, and she was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon/family violence, a first-degree felony.
An investigation revealed there had been an argument between Donnelly and the victim, whom she had a relationship with. The victim took off walking, and Donnelly went looking for him in her car, a 2014 Chevrolet Spark.
According to reports, when Donnelly saw the victim, she hit him with her car. The crash happened in the 1900 block of Windy Ridge Lane.
Police believe Donnelly intentionally hit the victim.
The victim suffered non-life threatening injuries.
At press time, Donnelly was still in custody at the Williamson County Jail on a $100,000 bond.
