On Aug. 2, Taylor firefighters took on a new job – serving blizzards at Dairy Queen for Miracle Treat Day.

Firefighters parked the fire truck in front of the restaurant, learned how to make blizzards and helped serve customers.

Miracle Treat Day was a one-day event where proceeds from all blizzards were donated to the Children’s Miracle Network (CMN) Hospitals to benefit Texas Children’s Hospitals in the area.

CMN Hospitals is a non-profit organization dedicated to saving and improving the lives of children by raising funds for children's hospitals across North America. Each year, the 170 CMN Hospitals provide the finest medical care, life-saving research and preventative education to help millions of kids overcome diseases and injuries of every kind.
