HUTTO – At least 1/3 of house fires that begin with a Christmas tree going up in flames occur in January, that’s according to the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA). Waste Management - Williamson County Landfill is providing residents with a free recycling service so that this type of hazard can be avoided.

HUTTO – Due to a rise in COVID-19 cases within the Hutto ISD Transportation Department, delays are expected to bus service the first week after the winter break. “We will communicate directly with those on the affected routes (Tuesday) afternoon,” said David Uecker, director of transportation.
